  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prep 9 x 13 inch baking pan with nonstick baking spray. Line the baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. Spray the parchment paper with the nonstick baking spray. Set aside.

Batter:

  1. Add sugar, sour cream, butter, and eggs to a large mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to combine the ingredients.

  2. Continue to mix until the ingredients are well blended. Add the mashed bananas and vanilla extract to the large mixing bowl.

  3. Again, mix until all ingredients are combined. In a second bowl add the flour, baking soda, and salt together.

  4. Mix to blend the ingredients. Add to the wet ingredients. Stir to mix.

  5. Stir in the chopped pecans. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.

  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes. (Check to see if done by inserting a toothpick in the center of the pan. If the toothpick comes out clean the brownies are done.)

  7. Remove from the oven when done. Set aside to cool.

Frosting Lists:

  1. Brown butter:

  2. Slice the stick of chilled butter.

  3. Heat a heavy skillet on medium heat.

  4. Add the butter, whisk often.

  5. Watch for the melted butter to begin to foam.

  6. Check often for light brown specks on the bottom of the skillet. (See if the melted butter has a nutty scent.) If so….

  7. Pour the melted butter into a bowl.
