  1. Top with Remaining Dough
    • Roll out the remaining dough and place it on top of the apples.
    • Brush the top with a light coating of egg white.
  2. Bake to Golden Perfection
    • Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the crust is golden.
  3. Prepare the Icing
    • While the bars are cooling, prepare the icing by beating the confectioner’s sugar, pinch of salt, vanilla extract, and 3 tbsp of milk in a small bowl until smooth.
  4. Drizzle the Icing
    • Once the bars have cooled, drizzle the icing over them.
  5. Cut into Squares
    • Finally, cut your Flaky Apple Pie Bars into squares, and they’re ready to serve!
